MILLER, Allan - Sgt - 537481 - the Dundee Courier of February 8th 1946 has the following announcement:

MILLER - Officially reported to have died of injuries received following rail accident in Holland on Jan. 26, 1946, on his way home for demob, Allan Miller, R.A.F., aged 31 years.

Charles ( CALDER ) Campbell 1570295 , attached to Number 414 ASP , was admitted dangerously ill to with pneumonia to Number 25 General hospital in Germany on 24 December 1945. Evacuated by air to the UK , and admitted to RAF Hospital Wroughton. He died of pulmonary tuberculosis

Thomas Edward Tulip 46193 , attached to RAF Aboukir , was admitted seriously ill Number 64 General hospital on 26 June where he died of peripheral neuritis

Ernest Trevor Holmes 137593 , attached to AHQ Malta, died off duty in Floriana when he accidently fell and suffered a fractured skull and internal haemorrhage, being dead on arrival at Number 90 General hospital

This information was obtained via the purchase of a GRO overseas death certificate by myself as Holmes was the last Airmen in Malta to be partially accounted

Harold William Barth 2276047 | Attached to Number 3 Recruits Centre | was admitted to Dereham hospital on 27 January and died of unknown causes, which were later found to be diptheria

Harold Roy Coombe 44029 | attached to HQ Number 41 Group | was admitted to Andover War Memorial hospital on 18 January, he became dangerously ill on 20 January, dying of pneumonia
