FANTHAM, Harry - LAC - 984095 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at Cardiff Royal Infirmary.

GREGORY, Arthur - LAC - 1098505 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at the Royal Infirmary, Bolton.

GERMANY
HORNE, Alexander Simpson - LAC - 1556969 - the Fife Free Press and kirkcaldy Guardian of February 16th 1946 reported the following:

VICTIM OF ROAD ACCIDENT - Mrs. Jesse C. Macfarlane Horne, "Braehead," Methil, has received the sad news that her husband, L.A.C. Alexander S. Horne, R.A.F., was fatally injured in a road accident near Munster, Germany, on 2nd February. Youngest son of the late Mr. Andrew Horne, and of Mrs. Horne, "Miramar," Lower Largo, L.A.C. Horne was on the staff of the British Linen Bank, Galashiels, prior to joining the R.A.F. in 1941. He served his apprenticeship in the Methil branch of the bank. After a period of service in France, he was transferred to Germany at the end of hostilities.

2771 Sgt Alfred Ronald Vernon BROWN RAAF.

2771 T/F/Sgt (Fitter IIA) Alfred Ronald Vernon BROWN RAAF (of No.2 Personnel Depot, Bradfield park, Sydney), was discharged from the RAAF as Permanently Medically Unfit, on 25 July, 1944. He had previously suffered from Rheumatic Fever which led to his admission to No.3 RAAF Hospital, Bradfield Park, on 8 December, 1943. T/Sgt Brown died from an unspecified illness (probably related to his earlier troubles with Rheumatic Fever), on 2 February, 1946. His death was considered attributable to his war service.

Harry Fantham 984095 , attached to Number 100 PDC, he was fatally injured in a car accident on his demobilisation leave, dying of his injuries in Cardiff Royal Infirmary with his mother present

William Charles Powell 1357971 was sent to disperse Thai looters at 10:15 hours and did not return . His body was found at 17:50 Hours with head injuries under a packing case in a pond. His rifle was missing. One Thai had been shot and killed by the guard and a Thai witness to Powell’s murder was detained.
