65656 LAC (Fitter Armourer) John Stephen O'ROURKE RAAF (of No.8 Stores Depot, Macrossan), was seriously injured (Fractured skull and brain injuries), at Royal South Sydney Hospital on 21 February, 1946. He died of his injuries in the same institution on 24 February, 1946.

Haydn Noble 1835547 , attached to RAF Khartoum ( and who had been injured in the crash of Marauder HD625 at Almassong, Italy on 30 June 1945 ) was reported missing believed drowned when a boat overturned in the Nile. His body was recovered on 1 March having drowned and he was buried the following day
