88774 LAC Terry Desmond WILSON RAAF (of RAAF HQ, Melbourne), was seriously injured on 27 February, 1946, when his motor-cycle struck a stationary vehicle . He died on 28 February, 1946, after admission to the Heidelberg Military Hospital, Melbourne.

LONSDALE, Robert - LAC - 1019771 - the Falkirk Herlad of March 9th 1946 reported the following:

DIED ON SERVICE
A young Falkirk airman, L.A.C. Robert Lonsdale, of 37 Thornbridge Road, died of illness at home on Thursday last week. A former employee of Messrs. R. & A. Main, Camelon, Falkirk, he had served for 2 1/2 years in North Africa before being transferred to italy. In September of last year he was invalided home with stomach trouble. Since then he had been on service in this country. He is survived by his wife and two sons, aged 10 years and 8 years.

YOUNG, Donald - Cpl - 1275465 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at the R.A.F. Hospital, Woughton.

161752 LAC William HIRST (not HURST) RAAF, of No.1 Transport and Movement Office, Sydney, was killed in a ground accident of an unknown nature at Yass, New South Wales, on 28 February, 1946.

Donald Young 1275465 | attached to Number 1 PHU | was admitted seriously ill to Number 9 RAF General hospital in Calcutta on 27 November 1945, becoming dangerously ill on 28 November. He was evacuated to the U.K. and admitted to RAF hospital Wroughton on 28 February 1946 where he died of carcinoma of the lung
