131394 Cpl Raymond John DORN RAAF.

131394 Cpl. Raymond John Dorn RAAF (of RAAF Rathmines), was killed in a motor accident near Rathmines, New South Wales, on 3 March, 1946. The truck in which he was travelling with two other men, skidded on loose gravel and overturned. The two other men were injured. Dorn's twin brother, Ronald, was killed in a mine accident in October 1940.

141872 Cpl Leslie Walter BISHOP RAAF (of No.2 Radio Installation and Maintenance Unit, Townsville), was drowned in the flooded Townsville River on 3 March, 1946. At the time of his death he was rowing a boat, probably involved in rescue work. The precise circumstances of his death were not recorded.

143872 LAC (Cooks Assistant) Leslie Walter BISHOP RAAF (of No.2 Radio Installation & Maintenance Unit, Townsville), fell from a bridge when crossing a creek near Townsville, and drowned in flood water caused by a cyclone.
