I am researching a Dane in RNZAF service, and considering requesting the serviceman record from the NZDF archives. Born in 1915, he survived the war. I have not been able to find proof of the man's post-war death.

Would anyone know,
a) if the NZDF discloses service records, without proof of death
b) how to locate such a date

The man in question is Henry Haakon Hansen

Hello Mikkel,

Hansen died in New Zealand on 19 June 2002. He was born 13 September 1915 and became naturalised in New Zealand in 1946. I'm sending you official confirmation per email.

Cheers,
Errol
