Malcolm

LEE, Alfred James - LAC - 1661624 - nothing for him on Scotland's People. However, after a quick search on FreeBMD for a 21 year old with the surname Lee, registered June 1946, brings up a possible match:

The Western Times of May 10th 1946 reported the following:

L.A.C. W. J. Lee R.A.F.
The funeral took place at Broadclyst parish church on May 1 of L.A.C. Wilfred James Lee, age 21, youngest son of Mr. and the late Mrs. T. Lee, of Forches Cottage, Broadclyst.
The death of L.A.C. Lee occurred in the R.A.F. Hospital, Wroughton. Deceased had served 3 1/2 years in the R.A.F. in Europe and the Far East. His brother, Sergt. Ernest Lee, R.A., lost his life during North Sea operations during the war. A contingent of R.A.F. personnel acted as bearers, and the coffin was draped with the Union Jack and also deceased's service cap.

The father's initial and Broadclyst match his entry on the CWGC website:
