YEMEN
HAIGH, Clifford - F/O - 195289 - listed as being with the Aden Protectorate Levies. The National Probate Calendar records that he died at No. 7 R.A.F. Hospital, Aden. In the book 'The Gaysh: A History of the Aden Protectorate Levies 1927-61' by Frank Edwards, page 86, he writes that 'on May 9th 1946, Flying Officer C. Haig [sic] was accidentally wounded by a gun in his quarters in Champion Line and died that same night.'

Hi,

GARLAND, William Absalom - Sqdn/Ldr - C/11667 - RCAF

3. 10. 1945 discharged from the RCAF. Died in Ottawa, Ont, cause of death - intestinal obstruction due to mesenteric thrombosis, volvulus, appendicitis. Death was releated to previous military service.
