RUCHWALDY, Desmond Fred - F/Lt(P) - 127048 - registered Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

Both killed in Tiger Moth T.2 DE523 of the C.F.S., crashed Poulton after stalling during low-level aerobatics.

PAKISTAN
CAVE, Alan Frederick - AC1c - 3001675 - G.R.O. list has "Kohat."

AUSTRALIA.

421465 W/O Cecil RHODES RAAF.

421465 W/O (Air Gnr.) Cecil RHODES RAAF, was seriously injured in an aircraft accident on 15 April, 1943, whilst serving on 21 OTU. Wellington IC Z1142 hit the windsock taking off at Enstone and crashed in flames. The then, Sgt Rhodes, was repatriated to Australia, but died on 21 May, 1946 following his 27th operation in three years. (See: BCL7/213 - 15-4-43, 21 OTU) and...

Actual cause of death: Syncope -

(1) Acute Myocardial Failure.
(2) Congestion of the lungs.
(3) Persistent thymus.
(4) Enlarged mediastinal and mesenteric glands.
