198567 F/O William Russell Strang GRANT RAFVR.

On the 19th June (1946), Flying Officer Russell-Grant [sic] was killed in a Jeep (19 Sqn at Lubeck).

FERGUSON, John - LAC - 1145119 - a family tree on ancestry.co.uk states that he died of TB at Coleraine.

HARTLEY, Harold Ashworth - LAC - 1541268 - the Nelson Leader of June 28th 1946 reported the following:

The funeral took place at Haggate Baptist Burial Ground on Wednesday afternoon of Leading Aircraftman Harold Ashworth Hartley, of 16 Percy Street, Nelson. He passed away on the previous Wednesday evening at Westminster Hospital, London, after a severe illness at the age of 36 years.

HOLFORD, Clifford Arthur - Sgt(A/G) - 2221612 - the Staffordshire Advertiser of June 29th 1946 reported the following:

The funeral took place at St. James's parish church, Salt, on Tuesday, the Vicar (the Rev. E. L. Knight) officiating, of Flight Sergeant Clifford Arthur Holford, R.A.F., who was fatally injured in a road accident when returning in a motor-lorry to his station at Market Harborough. The lorry, a R.A.F. vehicle, skidded into the wall of a house, and several other passengers sustained injuries.

David Grenada Cummings 727039 , attached to RAF Hereford , died of exhaustion and schizophrenia in Talgarth military hospital

Harold Ashworth Hartley 1541268 | attached to 96 MU | was taken seriously ill on 1 May. Transferred to the Westminster hospital, London SW1, on 4 May, he died of carcinoma of the stomach
