Hello,

AUSTRALIA.

413030 F/L Roy Edward PERCIVAL RAAF.

413030 F/L (General Duties) Roy Edward PERCIVAL RAAF (of No.36 Sqn RAAF)., was killed in a fall from a cliff at Edge Hill quarry, near Cairns, Queensland. On 30 June, 1946, he was found dead by children who were playing in the vicinity. Percival, who had been drinking heavily with comrades at the Strand Hotel on June 28, had left the hotel at 10.00 pm and he was not seen again until the children found his body at the bottom of the cliff. The Coroner concluded that there were no suspicious circumstances connected to Percival's death.
