RICE, Edward George - LAC - 1235075 - not on Scotland's People website.

SLANEY, Denis Harvey - Lt(A) - RNVR - the National Probate Calendar records that he died 'in the sea near Public Swimming Baths, Western Esplanade, Southend-on-Sea.' His death was reported in the Chelmsford Chronicle of July 5th 1946, which reported that he drowned while bathing in the sea.
