DICK, James Johnston - F/Sgt - 1064627 - the Fife Free Press of July 27th 1946 reported the following:

AIRMAN FATALLY INJURED
Mr and Mrs James Dick, 136 Taylor Street, Aberhill, have suffered a tragfic blow with the death of their only son, Warrant Officer James Johnstone [sic] Dick, R.A.F., following a motor cycle accident in which he was involved at Grantham.

The Grantham Journal of July 26th reported that the accident occurred near the Burton Coggles turning on the Corby-Grantham road a little after 10.30 p.m.

MELVILLE, James Russell - Cpl - 1240637 - the National Probate Calendar records that he died at the General Hospital, Grimsby.
