F/Sgt Robert David RUNDLE RAAF (ex-RAAF HQ, Eastern Area, Melbourne), was formally discharged from the RAAF on 22 October, 1945. He passed away from an unspecified illness at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Melbourne, on 21 July, 1946.

GOODMAN, Sydney - LAC - 1682194 - the Yorkshire Evenining Post of July 24th 1946 reported the following:

L.A.C. Sydney Goodman (24), 2829 Squadron, R.A.F., whose wife and parents live in Albury Terrace, Hunslet, has died from injuries received in a truck accident while serving with the B.A.O.R. in Germany. He had served five years, the last two overseas, and was due to be demobbed shortly. His wife's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Plant, live at Middleton.
