The four airmen named above were crew in Warwick V - PN763 - 160 MU.
All are remembered on the Alamein Memorial, Egypt.
TOWER, John James - Sgt - 615143 - RAF.
Heliopolis War Cemetery, Egypt.

BURGIS, Arthur Edwin - LAC - 1484855 - registered Salisbury. The Dover Express of August 22nd 1947 carried the follwing in the 'In Memoriam' section:

BURGIS - treasured memories of L.A.C. Arthur Burgis, R.A.F., who died Aug 27th 1946, on the eve of demobilisation.

JONES, Thomas John - LAC - 1314055 - registered Pontypridd.

John James Tower 615143, attached to RAF Cairo, was dangerously injured on duty in an accident on the rifle range on 25 August at RAF Cairo West. Admitted to Number 5 RAF hospital, he died of a gunshot wound to the left chest

Thomas John Jones 1314005 | a RAF pensioner at the time of his death, died at 14 Albany Street, Mountain Ash, of haemoptysis secondary to pulmonary tuberculosis

Arthur Edwin Burgis 1484855 | attached to Number 104 PDC | on discharge leave from 30 July, with an effective release date of 18 November, was admitted dangerously ill to the Tower House EMS hospital Salisbury, dying at 23:00 Hours of infantile paralysis
