I have a feeling i posted a question about this chap a few months ago. He died at RAF Hospital Cosford, although i do not know the exact cause of death. He was on strength of 7 ACU according to the AHB.

Cheers, Tom

Hi Henk
Campbell, 49, is registered at Wenlock, Shropshire which I think would be right for a death at Cosford
Regards
Dick

Yes, Cosford was in Wenlock's registration district. You can safely assume that any casualties buried in Donnington Cemetery (which is just around the corner from the airfield at Cosford) and with deaths registered in Wenlock, died in Cosford Hospital. The registration district changed to Wellington after the war if i remember correctly (?), so airmen who died in the hospital post war are registered there.

Hope that helps, Tom
