What caused the death of and/or what were the places of death registration for:

Cpl Albert H.G. HOOKINGS - 842777 - 2BC, 904 (Balloon) Sqn, Clapham, Surrey - killed on active service;
W/O Basil le Gay JONES - 84584 - not found Flight archives;
AC2 John E. LOWE - 1026738 - died of wounds or injuries received on active service, and
AC2 Frank W.J. MYLES - 1293271 - killed on active service.

Hockings ,33, is registered at Wandsworth a London Borough just N of Clapham and right for someone operating detached from the HQ of the Balloon Sqn. Jones,41, is registered at Cambridge, Lowe,28, is registered at Ipswich, Suffolk, Myles, 29, is registered at Gipping, also Suffolk and the area next to Ipswich but to the N .

Henk and other interested parties:

RAF Wattisham, Suffolk, was attacked by a lone He 111 at 1153 hours this date. 6 HE bombs fell; two made craters in the airfield and 4 scored direct hits on buildings. Ration Stores and Tailors Shop wrecked. 7 cars parked on tarmac also wrecked. 7 RAF personnel injured, 3 taken to Ipswich Hospital.
Another report which gives location of these bombs as Ringshall (=Wattisham) says town of Stowmarket also bombed at 1158 hours, serious damage and 1 civilian killed.
Total casualties for E Suffolk this date given by Police as 2 fatal, 2 seriously injured and 1 minor casualty.

Hello

W/O Basil le Gay JONES - 84584 - the Birmingam Daily Gazette of February 1st 1941 reported the following:

Air Pilot Shot
Flying Officer Basil le Gay Jones, aged 41, of Newmarket Road Cambridge, was found shot early yesterday at his home. A revolver was found by his side. He was taken to hospital, but died shortly afterwards.

John Topping 1028043 , attached to Number 3 Recruits Centre , was admitted dangerously ill to RAF hospital, Kirkham on 29 Januray , where he died of chronic nephritis uranaemia
