AC2 John E. KITCHMAN - 1082326;
AC2 George W. POPE - 1352297, and
AC2 Noel J. VERNHAM - 1294615.
None of these names listed Flight archives.

Proposed aircraft losses for this day:

Blenmheim I - L1251 - 54 OTU - flew into ground Badboggin Lane, York.
Blenheim IV - T2287 - 13 OTU - flew into ground 1 mile E of Marsh Gibbon, Buckinghamshire.

No casualties on T2287. For L1251, two killed, neither being on your list Henk. They were Sgt W Kimber and Sgt V Foot

Re L1251

There is a Bad Bargain Lane in York but I've never heard of Badboggin Lane.

the location is "Bad Bargain Lane" York. From memory the Am1180 gives Badboggin Lane as the location and the error has been copied to more modern books.

This does not help Henk's initial post, sorry.

AC2 John E. KITCHMAN - 1082326 - registered Newton, Lancs.

AC2 Noel J. VERNHAM - 1294615 - the Lancashire Evening Post of February 7th 1941 reported the following:

TRAGIC STORY OF R.A.F. MAN IN NORTH-WEST
'Death as the result of drinking poison, suicide' was the verdict at an inquest yesterday on Noel John Vernham (18), of London, and A.C.2 in the R.A.F., who had been billeted in a town in the north-west.
Henry Arthur Vernham, father, said hsi son had complained of pains on his stomach and his letters indicated that he was slightly depressed but he had never threatened to do anything to himself. His son was working at Croydon when there was an air raid, which seemed to unnerve him.
After the Coroner had given his verdict, the youth's father said he would like to explain that during the last few weeks his son had appeared rather morbid, becasue he appeared to imagine that there was something wrong with him.
The Coroner said it was not the duty of the Coroner to express any opnion as to the state of mind, but if it was any comfort to the relatives he would say that in his opinion, the balance of the youth's mind was disturbed when he took the poison.
