What caused the death of and/or what was the place of death registration for:

Sgt David KIRKLAND - 745364 - 68 Sqn (Catterick, Yorkshire) - killed on active service.

Can't find a matching Blenheim serial number.

Regards and thanks for your help.

Henk
Warner has Kirkland on L1207 crashing near Malton Yorkshire on 23/24/Mar/41. The registration at Rydale is right for such an incident.

The crash occured about a mile north of Great Habton, which is approx 4 miles NW of Malton, Yorkshire. Kirkland however was thrown from the aircraft in the air and his body found some distance from the crash site.
