Master N7709 was a non-fatal accident, I have done a quick search of the CWGC register and it seems as though LAC Stewart survived.
March 22nd 1941, “No.1053544 LAC Stewart, D. crashed in flames in Master N7709 –
neglecting to fly by instruments when night flying. Pilot dangerously ill. Investigation held on
22/3/41.”

Fowler was DOAS, name is scanned as "Fowler, A/C. 2ml Cl: N. .1 L"
They reversed the surnames and initials for a while in Flight.
Henk, no need to aknowledge this posting, I've pushed enough threads off the front page. Send a PM if you wish.
