Hi

WOOD, William Meston - AC2 - He was serving with No 95 Maintenance Unit and was knocked off his bicycle on 11 January by a lorry during the black-out. He died from his injuries two days later

UPGRADE to William Meston Wood 635600 , a batman attached to 95 MU , he was fatally injured at Lord's Bridge, Harlton, Cambridgeshire when struck from behind by a car whilst cycling on the outside with another airmen after leaving his girlfriend's house with a defective tail light. Admitted to Addenbrooks hospital, he died at 01:23 hours from a fractured skull

Frederick Harrison 313113 , was admitted seriously ill to RAF hospital Uxbridge on 10 January where he died at 06:00 Hours of bronchopneumonia and myocardial degeneration

Stanley Vincent Maxted 902678 , attached to RAF Yatesbury, was admitted seriously ill to RAF Hospital, Yatesbury on 2 January where he became dangerously ill and died of lukaemia
