Incase anyone had money to spend,
the following website, and it may not be the only one, has the
GRO War Deaths RAF all ranks (1939-1948) Index
fully indexed such that it claims one can search by name, serial number, rank, unit
http://www.familyrelatives.com/search/search_wwiiairforce.php
If Santa is coming around later in the year perhaps.
I'm sure there are more sites that have this but to have it transcribed is a major bonus. One good element of this index is tht it lists a unit for all people, including thosed killed in training.
regards
Dennis
