WILSON, Douglas - AC1c - 628821 - RAF - 8 AOS.
Loughborough ( Leicester Road ) Cemetery, Leicestershire.

Hi

Wilson - He was serving with No 8 Bombing & Gunnery School, when he died in the Royal Northern Infirmary, Inverness from respiratory failure caused by a fracture at the back of the skull.

Montreal ( Mount Royal ) Cemetery, Quebec, Canada.

Surname was Colquhoun.

Fatally injured in accident which occurred at Kelly Beach (North Sydney, NS) at 1110 hrs. Injured suffered head lacerations considered not serious. Accident occurred when gantry which was being set up on ice slipped and struck airmen on heads.

Douglas Wilson 628821 died of injuries sustained in a road accident

Douglas Wilson's death was reported in the Leicester Evening Mail of February 22nd 1940. It records that he was killed in an accident in the black-out, when he was in collision with a motorcycle while walking along a road near his station.
