SLATER, Stanley Owen - Cpl - 527163 - RAF - 26 Sqn.
Gezaincourt Communal Cemetery Extension, Somme, France.
DOAS. Cause ?

From CWGC -

UK
CHAPMAN, Arthur Rex - Lac - 534704 - RAF - 38 Sqn.
COND, Leslie Charles - Sgt - 580724 - RAF - 38 Sqn.
HAWXBY, Noel - F/O - 39735 - RAF - 38 Sqn.
HILL, Anthony - F/Sgt - 590559 - RAF - 38 Sqn.
JOHNSON, Thomas Frederick - Lac - 538052 - RAF - 38 Sqn.
JONES, Frederick Glyn - Lac - 567277 - RAF - 38 Sqn
The above six airmen were crew of Wellington Ia - N2951 - 38 Sqn.

WILSON, Anthony Neville - F/Lt - 90300 - RAF(AAF) - 616 Sqn.
This airman was pilot of Spitfire I - K9810 - 616 Sqn.

The above seven airmen are all remembered on the Runnymede Memorial, Surrey.

Thank you Dave, but it would have been easier to find if it had just copied and pasted the section on SLATER. thus -

ORB: Fire broke out in clothing store on 20 Feb 1940 Corp Slater taken to St Ricque hospital with severe burns and died there following day

With a reference to the thread you kindly gave.

Fg Off Basil Allen Mortimer (Hart K4768, 1 FTS, Netheravon, flew into high ground in cloud, near Devizes)

Somehow I overlooked these two airmen when typing my page and never noticed my omittion until you brought it to light.

[ Hart(T) - K4768 - 1 FTS ].

Also Air 81 has N3849 , not N3859,
