Arthur William Lynch 755017 , attached to Number 3 SFTS, fell over a banister onto a concrete floor at RAF South Cerney on 5 December 1939 , suffering a committed fracture of his right paella. Admitted to RAF Hospital, Yatesbury , he developed pneumonia and cellulitis and died

George Marshall 947538 , attached to Number 2 Recruits Centre, died in St. Luke's hospital , Bradford , of cerebro spinal meningitis

Stanley Samuel Outten 900798 , attached to D squadron at RAF Henlow, died in the Royal Herbert Hospital, Shooter's Hill, Woolwich, of meningitis, a cerberal abscess and ethnoiditis
