What caused the death of following airmen, both killed on active service and buried in the Capuccini Naval Cemetery:
Sgt Ralph N. TAPPER - 528245, and
LAC Herbert C. HERMON - 614311.
Regards and thanks for your help.
Henk.

Hi Henk
There was a raid by Ju88s of LG1 on the evening of the 29 April, so my guess both were victims. Incidentally, both were employed at HQ RAF Mediterranean (later known as Air HQ Malta)
Cheers
Brian

Thanks Brian. That may be correct as both airmen were not flying personnel and the air raid that same day.
Regards,
Henk.
