Hello
AC2 Albert MARSHALL - 1094379 - the Derbyshire Times and Chesterfield Herald of June 13th 1941 reported the following:
KILLED BY ENEMY ACTION
The funeral took place at Christ Church, Stonegravels, Chesterfield, on Wednesday of Aircraftman Albert Marshall (34), son of Mrs. S. A. Marshall and the late Mr. Marshall, 31, Brunswick Street, Chesterfield, who died as the result of enemy action on Thursday last week.
The National Probate Calendar records that he died "at or near The Royal Hospital, Wolverhampton." Seemingly the victim of an air raid.
Regards
Simon
