While I am in a mood for posting, please can anyone help on this enquiry?

When I was a child, we had a neighbour who was a pilot in the RAF in WWII. His name was George Thompson. He flew Beaufighters and Mosquitos in Burma. Other than that, I have very little information which would identify him. He was married to Millie (Mildred) but I don't know when they married. They did not have any children.

I would like to know if it is possible to identify which squadron he was on, and find out some of his history. The shame is that it is 20 years or so since I last had any contact with him, and I would expect that by now, it is likely that he may have passed away.

If anyone can help, I would love to hear from you.

Many thanks.

Thank you Mark. I was there today for him, as were a great many more.

Thanks.
