What were the places of death registration for:
F/Lt John FANNING - MBE - 43317;
LAC William LINTIN - 948615, and
AC2 David E. WILLIAMS - 1047445.
Proposed aircraft losses for this day:
Oxford I - P9020 - 15 FTS - crashed on take-off Kidlington/Oxfordshire.
Whitley I - K7226 - CLS - crashed on alnding Ringway/Cheshire.

John FANNING aged 50 registered at St Albans.
William LINTIN - aged 20 death registered at Aberlady, East Lothian, Scotland. He was a dispatch rider.
David E. WILLIAMS - Two found, one aged 20 at Bridgend & the other aged 56 at Carmarthen.

Following from Andy's post Williams age is 20 on CWGC.

LAC Lintin was on his way home on leave when he was involved in a road accident receiving fatal injuries.

Hello Martyn,
very useful sources there, is there an online newspaper database you got them from by any chance? Or are they from hard copies of the papers.
There are a number of names I'd certainly like to look up in local papers from the UK.

These local newspapers are not online unfortunately. I have been doing some research on names on the local war memorials and obtained this information from the local library archive.

Looking for more info on the death of LAC George W. HOOPER - 636841 - age 27, buried in the Moro River War Cem., Italy. He is reported in Casualty Communiqué 103, published on page 84 of the Flight Magazine 22-1-1942 as DOAS. CWGC has him as assigned to # 6 Squadron, at that time posted Qasaba in Egypt.

Looking for info on the death of Sgt Edgar C. JAGO - RAAF 402696 of 20 SFTS, Cranford, S.Rhodesia, killed on an aircraft crash 16-6-1941 near Salisbury, S.Rhodesia. Sgt Jago lies buried in the Harare Pioneer Cemetery, Zimbabwe.
