Dave
Victor Louis Deroo ,19, is on CWGC, buried at Halton, but I couldn't find him on the England and Wales Register. CWGC has his N-O-K as a mother in Liverpool, so he wasn't taken home for burial.Apart from an airfield and Apprentices Training, I believe Halton was also an RAF Hospital. If he died anywhere near there he ought to be registered at Aylesbury.

Hi Henk
For Victor Deroo, what Dave has just put up (with the typo in the register) could be the man, if again the death required the attention of a Coroner and the registration was delayed.

AC2 K Treverton is listed DOAS in the Flight casualty listings, different to what Ken reported above. Magazine dated Sep 25th 1941.

Other wise all others match up with Flight listings.

There is a AC1 T Jones listed DOAS also in July 24th magazine.

Hello

LAC (Pilot u/t) Victor L. DEROO - 1066756 - he's listed as being with No. 1 E.F.T.S. on the Graves Registration Report Form, and the Liverpool Evening Express of July 4th reports that he "has been killed whilst flying."

P/O (Pilot) Kenneth LANCASTER - 101484 - listed as being with 56 O.T.U. on the Graves Registration Report Form, and the following is on the findagrave website:

https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=91994755&ref=acom

"From Lincolnshire's 'Bomber County Aviation Resource':- While on a cross-country flight, Pilot Officer Lancaster's aircraft suffered a problem in very bad weather; the airman was killed in the incident."

Cpl Clifford WADDINGTON - 1155761 - the Rugby Advertiser of June 24th 1941 reported the following:

R.A.F. CORPORAL KILLED
Watford Gap Fatality
A verdict that he died from injuries received when he drove his motor-cycle too fast round a "notorious corner" was returned by the Coroner (Mr. E. F. Hadow) at the inquest at Rugby on Saturday on Corporal Clifford Waddington (31), R.A.F., who was killed at Watford Gap, on the Watling Street, last Thursday afternoon.
