What were the places of death registration for:

AC2 Leslie R. HALFACRE - 1288330, and
Sgt (Pilot) Frederick G.T. McGAHEY - 1062375.

Proposed aircraft losses for this day:

Blenheim IV - L9021 - 6 OTU - overshot landing at Andover.
Spitfire I - N3230 - 53 OTU - crashed and destroyed by fire; no further details.
Spitfire I - P9383 - 53 OTU - crashed Colwinston, Glamorgan.

Leslie R Halfacre, aged 34, death registered at Hendon
Frederick G McGahey, aged 19, registered at Bridgend/Glamorgan

There was only a single crash related entry in the 53 OTU ORB on the 9th, there was also a crash recorded on the 10th.

July 9th 1941, “Sgt McGahey killed in flying accident. His body was later despatched to Belfast for burial by the relatives.”

July 10th 1941, “Sgt Plomteaux killed in flying accident.”

Thanks Pete and Al for your info. McGAHEY, his death registered at Bridgend, Glam., may have been a casualty on P9383 down at Colwinston, Glam.
I've Sgt Marion A. PLOMTEAUX - RCAF R/54382 (from USA) on Spitfire X4988.

Leslie Robert Halfacre 1288330 | attached to Number 3 Balloon Centre at RAF Stanmore | died of self inflicted injuries
