Henk, Just going back through all your old postings and I have the pilot of Lysander L4754 as being P/O A B Corbett and a.n.other being injured and L4754 as coming down not near Wakfield but 5 miles north of York, and just to the south of Sutton on the Forest.
Not that that has helped your original query ! regards Rich

Fred ( FREDERICK in his records ) Bowery 519334 , Clerk GD , was riding his motorcycle combination along with his friend Corporal John Norman Hyde Kerr , when they left Bowery's home at Finsbury Park at 22:00 Hours. At Midnight in Aylesbury, they gave an Airman named Haywood a lift on the pillion seat . Opposite Ivy House , Ludgershall , at 00:30 Hours, they collided with an oncoming Army truck driver by Signaller Potvin with Signaller Blackburn as driver mate and Signaller Mcarthy as passenger. . The motorcycle became lodged under the lorry and burst into flames , burning Potvin badly on the head, face, right hand and left leg . Kerr was burnt and injured and Heywood suffered lesser injuries. Bowery however was trapped under the lorry and died of extensive burns, a fractured skull and severe arm and leg fractures.
The Chris Hobson entry is totally erroneous
