I attended the launch of this book at the RAF Club last night, a very good turn out by over 200 people from a wide cross section of the Aviation, and Arts and Media world. The principal guest was HRH Prince Michael of Kent, Patron of the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust, together with ten members of 'The Few', who all signed my copy of the book.

I was at the RAF club, on tuesday 27th, at a lunch for the now few 44 Warsaw Club members.The men who took part in the Aug/Sept 1944 Warsaw airlifts, from squadron bases in Italy.[as did my RAAF father]

We did have quite a good turnout on Wednesday, sadly the 2.940 B of B aircrew are getting fewer, we were lucky to have 10 of them there, although we did have 17 at our Memorial Day back in July. Hope to be in Trafalgar Square on Wednesday for the unveiling of the Sir Keith Park statue.
