Hi Henk
Warner "Blenheim" records P3680 at Dyce with only injury to P/O L Ryan, no fatalities. There is a Death Registration of a James W Mallinson, age 21 at Whitchurch. There are several Whitchurch's in England but Air Britain says this a/c took off from Ternhill in Shropshire and there is a Whitchurch nearby so P5884 looks a good candidate.

Dick

Thanks Dick. I didn't check the Air Britain Serials Book however took my info from the Air Britain Aeromilitaria "Crashes in UK" list. (CTO Wollerton). P5884 indeed looks to be the candidate.
Good weekend,
Henk.

Henk, The Harvard at Wollerton is the one you're after. The aircraft took off from Tern Hill and crashed at Northwood House Farm, near Wollerton. He was the sole occupant.

Cheers, Tom

Alex,

CARTWRIGHT, Henry - Sgt - 741466 - RAFVR - DFM.
Hurricane I - P2619 - 79 Sqn.
>> Another error in TNA: https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C16471859
(well, actually an error by the person who compiled the file)
P2619 was lost with 607 Sqn on 15 May 1940.
This aircraft was N2619, as you have previously noted at: http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/showthread.php?19405-79-Sqn-Sgt-H-Cartwright&p=113569#post113569
Our database does not link Cartwright with this loss.

Andy
