These are now available through the British Archives "Documents on Line" services (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documentsonline/air76.asp). In searching, it is best if one can provide both a surname and a correctly spelled first name (for example, MAY, Wilfred rather than simply MAY, W.).

Some AIR76 service records are described by full name, others by surname and initials only. So if a full name search does not work always try a search on surname and initials as well.
