What were the places of death registration for:

A - Died on active service:
AC1 William H. ATKINSON - 1042419;
Sgt Roland KENYON - 973423;
LAC Thomas T. McLAREN - 972745, and
Cpl William J. WATSON - 1017861 - age 29.

B - Not found in Flight archives:
Cpl Rudolph J. HUNT - 532710.

Proposed aircraft loss for this day:
Albemarle I - P1447 - 27 MU - crashed in forced landing Ellerdine Grange, near High Ercall.

Sgt Roland KENYON - 973423 - the Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he died at 2.15 p.m. at Hairmyres Hospital due to leukaemia, from whoch he had been suffering for 7 months.

LAC Thomas T. McLAREN - 972745 - the Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he died at 14.30 p.m. at Gleneagles Hospital, due to heart failure after an appendicitis operation two hours previously.

Cpl William J. WATSON - 1017861 - the Statutory Deaths Register on the Scotland's People website records that he died at about 6.45 p.m. at Imperial Dock, Leith, due to accidental drowning.

Cpl Rudolph J. HUNT - the Chelsea News of Janaury 15th 1943 reported the following (edited for brevity):

On Wednesday, at Westminster Coroner's Court, Mr. Bentley Purchase held an inquest on Corporal Rudolph John Hunt (27), Royal Air Force. Deceased, a single man, was found hanged in a basement room at his quarters at South Kensington.
...Corporal Patrick Joseph Murray, R.A.F., said deceased was very conscientious and worried over his work. He was in no trouble that witness knew of.
...P.S. Cornell, 35B, said he found a pencilled note in a pocket of deceased's dressing gown in his bedroom...the Coroner said that in the note left by deceased he indicated that he was going to take his own life.

William John Watson 1017861, a Driver MT attached to Number 6 MT Company , drowned at Imperial, Dock, Leith , when he accidently drove his truck off the quayside

James George Girdler 517637 , was admitted seriously ill to Number 1 General hospital on 28 December 1942, becoming dangerously ill on 2 January 1943, where he died at 18:45 Hours of meningitis mastoiditis
