What were the places of death registration for:

A - Died on active service:
Sgt John PIGGOTT - 550465.

B - Killed on active service:
Cpl Albert W. TALBOT - 933448 - age 29.

C - Not found in Flight archives:
LAC Edwin J. BADKIN - 1152741 - age 26;
Cpl Walter J. NOBBS - 40776 - age 58, and
Cpl Walter E. WINNETT - 1303214 - age 35.

D - Also looking for GRO-listing of:
LAC Joseph J.T. BERUBE - RCAF R/125771, buried Gander, Newfoundland (name not found in Flight archives).

E - Proposed aircraft losses:
Beaufighter I - T4734 - 236 Sqn - crashed in forced landing Westhampnett.
Defiant I - V1134 - 285 Sqn - flew into ground Plumley, Cheshire.
Henley I - L3390 - 1604 Flt - dived into ground Mawdan (sic), near St. Eval (already as a casualty on this a/c: P/O [Pilot] S. ROGERS - RCAF J/16434).
Master III - W8826 - 5 (P)AFU - crashed in forced landing 1 mile W of Congleton, Cheshire.

It's known that many airmen this day died in an accident with a passengers buss, most of them of # 51 Sqn:

I think Cpl. W J Nobbs is listed as Cpl. W J Hobbs in Flight, listed as DOAS., CWGC don;t seem to have a W J Hobs in their database for 1941-1943.

No luck with the others though.

Berube is listed as DOAS in RCAF Casualty list 599 in the Lethbridge Herald printed 14 June 1943.

Joseph Jean Thomas Berube R 125771 , died of a self inflicted wound from his service rifle to the head 400 yards from RCAF Gander near Gander Lake. He had been suffering from a chronic, non tubercular lung complaint
