What was the place of death registration for LAC William A. ROBERTSON - 1430892, whose name I couldn't find in the Flight archives.

Proposed aircraft losses supposed he may have been killed on active service:
Oxford I - V3892 - 3 (P)AFU - crashed on landing South Cerney.
Proctor I - X8911 - Arbroath - crashed in forced landing (serial number doubtful as X8911 was a Proctor Mk.II cancelled to Contract B.89305/40 [source: Air Britain]).

Regards and thanks,
Henk.

Hello

Not sure where Wigan came from...?

The National Probate Calendar records that he died at Epsom County Hospital, and mentions his widow, Kathleen, which corresponds to the CWGC entry. FreeBMD has William A. Robertson, aged 30, registered Surrey Mid. E.

Regards

Simon
