B - Died on active service:
LAC Evan J. KITE - 983012 - age 23 - 76 Sqn (Linton-on-Ouse, Yorkshire).
C - Looking for GRO-listing of:
LAC James LEMMON - 981990 - buried Enfidaville War Cem., Tunisia, and
LAC William PARKER - 935764 - also buried Enfidaville War Cem.
D - Proposed aircraft losses:
Anson I - N5379 - 3 (O)AFU - flew into high ground at night Old Lodge Farm, Clee Hill, 5 miles E of Ludlow, Shropshire.
Beaufighter I.F - R2152 - 2 (C)OTU - flew into high ground at night Urra Moor, 3 miles S of Broughton, Yorkshire.
Blenheim I - L1428 - 12 (P)AFU - crashed on take-off Spittlegate.
Defiant I - T4074 - 10 AGS - crashed in forced landing Fleetwood beach, Lancashire.
Hurricane I - P3901 - 55 OTU - flew into high ground Scarrowmanwick Fell, Cumberland.
Lysander III - P9118 - 1 AOS - crashed in forced landing Innerwell, Wigtown.

No.1 AOS: April 28th 1943, “Lysander P9118 Mk.III crashed at Innerwell, Wigtownshire, the pilot F/O Hoslin (120020) died in hospital as a result of internal injuries.”
April 28th 1943, SSQ, “Lysander aircraft crashed near Innerwell. Pilot F/O Hoslin was severely injured – intra abdominal injuries, fracture right humerous, severe shock. Accident 16.15 hrs approx. Died at EMS Hospital, Galloway House at 19.00 hrs. Drogue operator not severely injured and was admitted to Galloway House Hospital where he is making satisfactory progress.”
The crew of Beaufighter R2152 were Flying Officer Davison and Sergeant Sykes.
The pilot of Hurricane P3901 was R/59063 Sergeant Peter Skoblack R.C.A.F.

Sgt (WOp/Ag) Robert Wilson CARLTON - 1379708 : 206 Sqn (Benbecula, Outer Hebrides) age 19 or possibly 20 years old. Found at Culla Bay, Benbecula : death registered at Benbecula, County of Inverness, Scotland.

regarding Kite - Bulmer district is the right for Linton on Ouse airfield, I don't have any additional info but it sounds like he died in the area of the airfield given the 76 Sqn link.
as per Alan Clarks info on Beaufighter R2152, Pilot - F/O Peter E Davison RAFVR (127323),
Nav - Sgt Eric N Sykes RAFVR (1100677), both killed. The reference to R2152.. "Broughton" should read "Great Broughton" and its more like "4 miles SE" rather than "3mS of".

Evan John Kite 983012 , an armourer, died in a ground accident at RAF Linton on Ouse at 19:00 hours

Thomas Arthur Allan 1314462 , attached to RAF Crosby on Eden, was killed in a flying accident when Beaufighter VI JL 772 of 9 OTU crashed at 00:05 Hours 2 miles west of Ramsey, IOM. Into Lezayre hill following engine faliure
Claude Brownlie Scott 1365810 also died in the accident

Robert Wilson Carlton 179708 , attached to 206 Squadron, was reported missing believed drowned at RAF Benbecula . His body being recovered at 19:45 Hours

Robert Ernest Julien Wilmet 86623, attached to 349 Belgian Squadron, died in SSQ at RAF Ikea of acute alcoholic poisoning
This information was obtained via the purchase of a GRO overseas death certificate by myself as there was no cause of death in his records other than " natural " and the ORBs for Ikeja and the Squadron had no mention of his death
