Researching a Danish airman I am looking for further information/details on 35 Squadron. I have found the following references:

Brookes, Andrew J. Flying the Winged Horse - the history of No 35 Squadron RAF. Aircraft Illustrated, May 1979, Vol 12, No.5. pp. 229-233

Cooper, Alan. We act with one accord: 35 Pathfinder Squadron. Hailsham: J&KH Publishing, 1998.

Would anyone have this number of Aircraft Illustrated? And could annyone recommend different sources?

Hei Mikkel,

I have sent you an e-mail with a Word document which I believe has the information that was in the Aircraft Illustrated article. I used the e-mail address associated with your profile on this site so if it is incorrect contact me and let me know.

Depending on what period your airman flew with the Squadron you may find information on my website at www.archieraf.co.uk

Thanks all!

I am researching air gunner, F/L Peter Fr. Fischer, D.F.C. (later Falstrup-Fischer, later Falstrup), who joined the squadron in June/July from 1944 as part of (later S/L) Gooch crew, cf.

I would be interested in any reference to him. I have a document on his service records, a short description of his service from his own hand and a list of missions placing him at No. 35 squadron on 14 July 1944 (flying-bomb site at St Philibert Ferme).
