What were the places of death registration for:

A - Killed on active service:
LAC (WOp/Ag u/t) George S. HOSH - 1330534.

B - Died on active service:
ACW2 Brenda WILLIAMS - 467390.

C - Also looking for unit and possible cause of death of:
AC2 Russell M. BOE - RCAF R/192336 - age 19, who lies buried in Bateman, Saskatchewan, Canada.

D - Proposed aircraft losses:
Defiant II - V1173 - 10 AGS - crashed Karlside Mines, Roose, Lancashire (already as a casualty on this a/c: F/Sgt [Pilot] J.B.C. METHVEN - 1268278).
Master II - DM214 - 1486 Flt - crashed on approach Valley.
Tiger Moth - BB855 (ex. G-ADPH) - 7 EFTS - crashed Northampton after collision with Tiger Moth R4906 of same unit that could land safely.

Hosh,22, registered at Barrow in Furness,Lancashire as is Methven,21.so it might put him on the Defiant V1173 at Karlside Mines
Brenda Williams,20, registered in W Cheshire

Location for Defiant V1173 should read 'Yarlside Mines'. O/S ref SD228712 although not marked on my 1995 Landranger series map.

BOE, Russell Merlin, AC2., died from natural causes in Canada . Carl Boe (father), Bateman, Sask .

Re: Tiger Moth - BB855.

AUS414872 F/Sgt (Pilot) Maurice Keith Hasard WILSON RAAF, is known to have baled out of an aircraft in the Northampton area on 27-5-1943. He was attached to 7 EFTS at the time.

Whilst piloting Tiger Moth II BB855 (of 7 EFTS), WILSON collided with Tiger Moth R4906 (also of 7 EFTS) which was piloted by AUS421895 T/Sgt Alan Gilbert EDWARDS* RAAF. WILSON was severely reprimanded for his part in this incident.

WILSON became a member of the Caterpillar Club on this date.

He was killed in action SW of Caen on 14-6-1944 in No.611 Sqn Spitfire V R6888. (FCL3/50).

Damaged by flak attacking MT. FTR.

UPGRADE to Russel Merlin Boe R 192336, he died in the Westminster hospital, Ontario of myocardial degeneration

Brenda Williams 467390 , A Clerk/GD attached to 30 MU , was admitted to Upton EMS hospital, Chester on 17 May where she died of Purpura haemorrhagica with her father at her bedside
