hi all
im researching the history of the 13 lancs my uncle flew on during his 32 ops with 576 sqn
his lanc NG 273 Y-Yoke squared was i believe built by armstrong whitworth at Baginton, coventry
was this lanc completley assembled there and test flown from this factory ?
or its final assembly done at the satelite factory at bitterswell?
also was this lanc delivered to M.U. if so which one or straight to sqn?
im aware it was struck off charge on 2-6-1946 and taken to RAF silloth and scrapped by 22 M.U. Total ops were 30 with 576 sqn
