S/L Pujji DFC RIP

For those of you who didn't see the news on the BBC site, I would like to sadly report that Squadron Leader M S Pujji passed away on Saturday.

I had the honour of communicating with S/L Pujji last year. A very gracious gentleman.

RIP S/L Pujji, you will be missed, as a veteran, a gentleman and someone who spent his final years in taking every opportunity to educate people about the fact that many many people from the Empire volunteered to serve the mother country.

So sorry to hear of this sad news. I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Sqn Ldr Pujji on Monday 19 July at the RAF Gravesend Memorial during the tour of Kent Battle of Britain airfields by the Vice Lord Lieutent of Kent.
