Thanks Dick. WEBB was DOAS, if killed on EL328 he should have been listed KOAS.

Henk.

Henk,

From ABS

Z4177, a Hurricane I of 71OTU spun into the ground near Al Mahsamah al Qadimah (8m west of Ismailia) on 28-Jun-43: probably a more likely contender for Sgt DAVIES than the Baltimore

The No.2 (C) OTU ORB doesn't record any injuries or fatalities resulting from EL328.

Henk,

Martinet JN499 from my notes - aircrafts engine failed on take off and overshot airfield on attempted landing, engine failure due to control electrode to the spark plugs being burnt away. Pilot Flt / Lt HILL, Llewellyn George (115591) Uninjured, UNKNOWN T.T.O. Uninjured.

If anyone can confirm the name of the T.T.O. I certainly would be interested.

Kind regards,

Tim

Hi Henk

Lissett would be registered in Holderness not Howden.

Smith was registered in Wandsworth in the 3rd Quarter, hence why he's not listed in the GRO list.
