What were the places of death registration for:

A - Died on active service:
AC1 Clifford E. BOZWORTH - 1319795 - age 22, aqnd
LAC William G. GIBSON - 1054250.

B - Not found in Flight Global:
LAC James A. MACDONALD - 948318 - 620 Sqn (Chedburgh, Suffolk).

C - Died of wounds or injuries received on active service:
Sgt (WOp) William S.H. MENZIES - 919401.

D - Proposed aircraft losses:
Magister I - L5947 - 44 Sqn - flew into ground Bracebridge Heath, Lincolnshire (or was the accident date 2-7-19"40"; see my thread "400702 - Unaccounted airman - 2-7-1940").
Beaufort II - AW382 - 5 (C)OTU - overshot landing at night Long Kesh.
Oxford I - MP281 - 6 (P)AFU - flew into ground Moreton-in-Marsh (already as a casualty on this a/c: Sgt [Pilot] K.B. ANSTALL - 1509442).

E - It is known that this day a 1,000 lb bomb exploded on a trolly at Lissett, Yorkshire, and have names of following casualties on file, all assigned to 158 Sqn:
Cpl Leslie T. FIELDING - 1079323 (commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial);
AC1 Jack E. LAUCOCK - 1696963 (commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial);
AC2 Robert G. MILLS - 1030747;
AC1 William MITHAN - 1085812;
AC1 Lewis D. MOORE - 1665709 - age 33, and
AC1 Kenneth D. TAYLOR - 1131423.

Bozworth,22, registered at Chippenham, Wiltshire
Gibson, 21, registered at Barrow, Lancashire
MacDonald,31, registered at Newmarket, Suffolk
Menzies,25, registered at Sleaford, Lincolnshire
All of those in your Lissett incident were registered at Buckrose, E Yorkshire. Laucock is spelled Laycock on the register and Moore's age is given as 35

Wow, I just had a look at this one and couldn't get the picture out of my mind of erks meeting their end this way. Horrible. And it looks like two of them were so badly damaged there wasn't enough to bury hence their being listed on the Runnymede Memorial. Am I surmising correctly?

Hi Henk

According to Chorley Macdonald was on Stirling III, BK724 QS-Y which collided with EF394 during a fighter affiliation exercise.
