During my research into 78 Squadron during the second world war I have been using the book "Luftwaffe Night Fighter Combat Claims 1939 - 1945" by Jahn Foreman, Johannes Matthews and Simon Parry; I have now been given a copy of "Nachtjagd War Diaries" by Dr Theo E W Boiten and have discovered some differences. So which one of these two excellent reference works is deemed to be the most accurate?

Anyone have an opinion?

Thanks

Hello,

The subject has been debated here, and explanations were given by Theo Boiten himself.

As the "in site" search facility is temporarily u/s, you can google to find this interesting thread. Dennis Burke has explained how to perform such a search, on a recent thread.
