Hello Tim, Thanks for your answer to Jimmy Gee and 1 CACU. Thanks for the offer of scans of 1 CACU which would be fantastic. If you have any dates (approx) of his other sqn postings that would help a lot. I have checked the 269 sqm OC site and he possibly was with them from April 44 when they had Spitfire Vb, at Lagens, Azores for Met work and local defence. The 2, 4, 16 sqns appear to be before his posting to 1 CACU as they had Lysander Tomahawk and Mustang which was ground attack orientated, which 1 CACU seems to have been.
