Hello Dietz,
my name ist Thomas Rost and I am a historian currently living in Hamburg. I do some research on two allied airmen that were murdered in my hometown near Frankfurt and came across the case of Flight Sergeant Doyle who was murdered in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg. Do you have further information on this case or even files of the reports that were carried out after the war? I found some mentions in the english literature, but it seems like the public in Hamburg is not aware of this case, especially since there was no conviction of the perpetrator.
