Hi Andy, Just realized that the line above “SS CARRS ” appears to read 4 MU. Would that be the unit that brought in SS Cars? Robert

Hi Andy, Would you deduce that SS Cars Ltd as a CRO was tasked to look at N1508 and the decision then made to write it off? Robert

    Hi Rob

I have now engaged with the son of James Farquhar Clark who won the george medal and also children of Arden Kenney who are showing interest in coming to visit in March . Would be very interested to hear what you have on this Crash as there is very little in the file of Robert Sandelin. No joy yet in any of the others yet

    Hallo Robert,
    .
I trust you are well. I am contacting you because I am looking for advice about hiring a researcher to carry out work for me at the DHH in Ottawa. A year or two ago in a thread on the 'RAF Commands' forum Hugh Halliday mentioned in passing that you had engaged a researcher to do some work there.
    .
My main area of study are the airmen whose aircraft crashed or force-landed in or off neutral Ireland during WW2. Many Ferry Command aircraft and crews crashed or force-landed here, but obtaining certain information from the DHH can be difficult. Although I would like to visit Canada, I doubt if I will manage a week in the DHH !
    .
The work would involve searching through the Ferry Command personnel and flight cards to obtain information on crew names and biographical details. Could you please recommend anyone to carry out this specialized research ? Or point me in the right direction ? Any help would be much appreciated.
    .
    Regards,
    .
    Martin Gleeson.
