What I have is as follows:

CHURCHILL, Jack, F/O, DFC (159031, Royal Air Force) - No.357 Squadron - Distinguished Service Order - awarded as per London Gazette dated 30 March 1945. Served in the ranks; commissioned 1943. Awarded DFC, 1 December 1944 (Pilot Officer, No.1576 Flight).

"This officer has completed a large number of sorties involving long flights. He has consistently displayed the highest standard of devotion to duty and his example has been most impressive. In January 1945, Flying Officer Churchill was the pilot and captain in an aircraft detailed for a sortie. The operation called for a high degree of skill and resolution. That success was achieved on a flight covering thousands of miles in all is a fine tribute to this officer's superb airmanship, great captaincy and iron determination.:

    Hi Oggie
I have the first zipfile of the Belgrade War Cemetery for you. I've only looked at a few but found one NZ airman. It seems that my friend Srecko has photographed the lot as there are 5 more zipfiles on the way!

Let me have your email address and I'll forward them. I am dj.daviator@btinternet.com

    Cheers

No, but I have the ORB entries for that period. Having said that, I am currently resident in the US and the entries are in storage in NZ, but I do have available a crew spreadsheet for the period in question. Regards, Terry
  7. Hi Wayne

Glen has been a tad busy over last few weeks and sometimes the info is as accessible as he would like but he will get back to you. If you contact Kevin King on kevinfking@talktalk.net he may also be able to help you. I will contact him as well and ask him to get back to you.

    Best wishes
    Dee

    Hi Dee,
Just wondering if you have had any contact lately with Glen Turner?
I contacted him in early December, he said he would email me some info, but I've not had anything from him. I sent another email with a couple of questions on 20 December and still nothing. I'm thinkng of contacting the UK 75 sqn association instead.
Do you have a contact in the UK ?
    Regards,
    Wayne.
